Dr. Bianca Albers appointed Implementation Scientist at IfIS

Dr. Bianca Albers has been appointed Implementation Scientist at IfIS, starting in April 2025. She first came to the institute in 2021 as a postdoctoral researcher and will now take on a permanent position.
Before joining the IfIS, Dr. Albers held positions at the University of Melbourne, the Centre for Evidence and Implementation (CEI) in Australia and the UK, and the National Board of Social Affairs in Denmark. She is a co-founder of the European Implementation Collaborative and co-editor of Implementation Science 3.0, a key publication in the field.
In her new role, Dr. Albers will continue to shape the future of IfIS by further advancing the field of implementation science and developing her independent research activities. Her expertise and leadership will support the development of impactful research and strengthen the institute’s academic profile.
